Novak Djokovic Claims Record 25th Grand Slam Title at Australian Open
Djokovic claims his 25th Grand Slam at the Australian Open, defeating Carlos Alcaraz in a four-set classic.
Novak Djokovic has once again etched his name into the history books, claiming his record 25th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open with a masterful display that left the sporting world in awe.
The Serbian legend dispatched Carlos Alcaraz in four gripping sets — 6-3, 4-6, 6-1, 7-5 — on a sultry Melbourne evening in front of a packed Rod Laver Arena.
"Every time I step on this court I give everything I have," Djokovic said, visibly emotional. "To keep breaking records at this stage of my career — I am just so grateful."
The victory, his tenth at Melbourne Park alone, extends his lead at the top of the all-time Grand Slam standings. At 38, there seems no sign that the Belgrade native is ready to slow down, with Roland Garros already firmly in his sights.
